February Chamber Virtual Meeting
JL Holdsworth, Owner, The Spot Athletics, will be our guest speaker at our February Chamber Virtual Meeting on Thursday, February 18th at 11:30am.
A small town kid, JL Holdsworth moved to Columbus, Ohio in 2002 with $300 to his name and everything he owned in a 2 door car. Since then, he has won a world championship in powerlifting, founded The Spot Athletics, which has two 20,000 sq. ft. private fitness facilities, co-founded a rapidly growing international business and built a family with 3 children. JL loves to share his experiences, failures and lessons to help others achieve success and happiness in life.
Originally from Big Rapids, Michigan, JL played college football at Ferris State University. He then transferred and graduated from Wayne State University (Detroit, Mi) with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in nutrition. He went on to the University of Kentucky as a strength and conditioning coach and began his masters degree in coaching. Before finishing his masters, JL decided to move to Columbus, Ohio to power lift professionally as a member of Westside Barbell.
In 2010 he founded The Spot Athletics and has built a small 2,000 sq. ft. facility into two 20,000 sq. ft. private fitness facilities. One located in Grandview and one in Dublin. The Spot Athletics works closely with many families and teams in Hilliard.
Along with The Spot Athletics, JL is the Co-Founder of Reflexive Performance Reset (RPR). RPR is a self applied system of breath and body work that instantly improves performance, reduces injury and improves recovery. RPR is used by many top sports organizations and special operations forces around the world. In the four years since its creation, RPR has become a worldwide brand with clinics being held in China, Australia and throughout Europe.
This will be a free session, however you do need to RSVP for this event by Wednesday, February 17th. This meeting will be held via Zoom. Details about how to connect will be emailed before this date to registered attendees.
