CANCELLED - Hilliard Women in Business Luncheon

Join us at the Reception House at Raymond Memorial by Schmidt's for the Hilliard Women in Business Luncheon on Thursday, June 15th from 11:30am to 1:15pm.
 
“How to Protect Yourself” will be presented by Mel Thompson, the owner of Hilliard Taekwondo Academy. Mel will teach attendees basic self-defense techniques while answering the question, "Does it have to get physical?"
 
Mel will talk about many of the things we can do to keep ourselves and our families safer and to help us avoid a situation that may become physical, as well as what to do if the threat of a physical confrontation arises. It can be a scary topic, but attendees will have fun as they learn how to plan ahead and to be the “crazy woman” an attacker wants to avoid.
