
March Chamber Luncheon - HCSD Career Education and Workforce Opportunities
We welcome Mark Tremayne and John Bandow from the Hilliard City School District, as our speakers at our March 11 Chamber Luncheon. Mark and John will discuss their strategic vision around Career Education and Workforce Opportunities. They are excited to connect with the Chamber members to share talent acquisition strategies aligned with their mission to have every student Ready for Tomorrow.
Mark Tremayne is the Director of Innovation & Extended Learning as part of Hilliard City School's Academic Leadership team. Mark’s focus is to provide meaningful hands-on, minds-on, authentic learning experiences for all students. Mark is a catalyst for new learning initiatives and an active strategist in student engagement, powerful partnerships, and pathway development. He seeks to empower students and staff by unleashing curiosity and cultivating interests into passions.
John Bandow is the Director of Outreach & Engagement, CCP, Hilliard City Schools
John has the unique historic perspective of the district, as he joined Hilliard City Schools in 1988. He has served as an Assistant Principal at Hilliard High School, 17 years as Principal of Hilliard Davidson High School, District Secondary Curriculum Director and now in his current role. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and general science. His master’s degree from The Ohio State University is in Athletic Administration. He has both his administration and superintendent licenses from The Ohio State University. John’s main areas of emphasis involves outreach initiatives as well as the expansion College Credit Plus program.
This luncheon will be on Friday, March 11 at Heritage Golf Club from 11:30 am-1:00 pm. Reservations are required and need to be made by Wednesday, March 9 online or by calling the office, 614-876-7666. Feel free to bring members of your company to this important luncheon. Open to the public.
