September Chamber Luncheon - Media Relations: How to Use It For Your Advantage
Former journalist, Marcus Thorpe, will discuss how businesses will respond to reporters' questions if a crisis happens to their business or personnel.
Marcus Thorpe is a former journalist with nearly 20 years in local television news. He crisscrossed the country in newsrooms from Colorado to Texas, Illinois to Columbus. After getting the chance to interview everyone from presidential candidates, Pat Sajak and Vanna White to so many more, Marcus decided to make a career change in 2016. He transitioned to OhioHealth as a Media Relations Manager, and now works to connect media with the expert voices at one of the largest employers in central Ohio.
This luncheon will be on Friday, September 15 at Heritage Golf Club from 11:30 am-1:00 pm. Reservations must be made by Tuesday, September 12 online or by calling the office at 614-876-7666. Feel free to bring members of your company to this important luncheon. Open to the public.
